Natural Breast Augmentation or Implants: Which is Better?

September 17, 2013

Natural breast augmentation with layaer autologous fat transfer.Have you been passed over by Mother Nature when it comes to the size of your bust? As much as you may have wished for that voluptuous shape, a padded bra may be the only thing that helps to make that wish come true.

Even when you’ve gained weight, it just seems to go to your hips before anywhere in the “northern region”.

Or…

Imagine that you’ve just heard the worst news of your life. You have breast cancer or have tested positive for the gene that makes you highly susceptible to it. To save your life, a mastectomy may be needed. Your breasts taken away… forever… or are they?

In both of these scenarios, there are breast surgery solutions: breast augmentation or reconstruction with implants versus fat transfer. Each of these will give you beautiful, natural looking breasts, but each method is different. One is much easier than the other. Can you guess which one?

Enhancing Your Natural Beauty

With natural breast augmentation, you’ll be able to change the way your bust looks as well as your entire figure. To accomplish this, liposuction is used to remove fat from your stomach, thighs, or buttocks, and then transfers it to the breasts using injections.

Fat creates breasts that are made from you with no risk of capsular contracture or silicone shell rejection as can happen on occasion with women who get breast implants.

Another aspect to consider is that implants come in several cookie cutter shapes such as round, high profile, and teardrop. These don’t offer the same  level of customization that autologous fat transfer can offer.

Implants simply cannot be customized to every woman’s unique shape. Additionally, consider that scarring is something that comes along with having breast implants.

Safety

Natural breast augmentation uses your adipose tissue, so you’re not having a foreign body inserted into your breasts as is the case with implants. Implants can sometimes lead to complications such as ruptures, allergic reaction, and capsular contracture. This can result in surgery to remove or replace the implants.

In fact, the United States Food and Drug Administration conducted a study in 2011 that found 20 to 40 percent of women who had augmentation and 40 to 70 percent of those who had reconstruction went back for a subsequent surgery related to their implants.

Permanency

Once the adipose tissue is injected into the breasts, your new shape is forever. You won’t need to revisit the plastic surgeon in 10 years like you will with implants. This means not only do you not have to deal with the burden of surgery, you’ll also save a lot of money.

Natural Breast Augmentation for Beauty, Safety and Permanence

Now that you know which breast enhancement is better, it’s time to learn the process of natural breast augmentation. The first step is to set up liposuction with a plastic surgeon who is enrolled with American CryoStem.

You and your surgeon will decide which areas you would like to remove excess body fat from. The most popular areas include the abdomen, thighs, and buttocks. Once the fat is removed, your plastic surgeon can help can enroll in the ATGRAFT program to have your fat stored.

In a few weeks, you’ll be ready for the first of several layered fat transfer procedures. Quick and easy, these layered fat injections provide your breasts with the foundation they need in order for the transferred fat to establish itself.

After your first autologous fat transfer, your doctor will ask you to wait about 2 months until the second is performed. He or she will request the stored fat to be delivered on your upcoming surgical date. This will allow the fat to vascularize, or grow blood vessels that will keep the fat alive and full of life-giving oxygen.

If the desired size is not reached after the second transfer, additional transfers can certainly be done about two months apart until the desired size is achieved.

Additional Uses for Stored Adipose Tissue

For any adipose tissue (fat) that is left over, our ATGRAFT tissue storage program will save it for you. It can be used for future cosmetic procedures such as permanent lip augmentation, fat transfer to the cheeks, or even for a Brazilian butt lift.

The stem cells in your adipose tissue can also be used for medical treatments to address heart disease, stroke, eye degenerative disorders, and more. With new clinical trials and studies underway each day, the possibilities are endless.

Whether you just want to become well-endowed or you need breast reconstruction after mastectomy, fat transfer to the breasts is the right answer. Contact American CryoStem today to find a Network Provider and to enroll in ATGRAFT.
